Health & Wellness Policy Change - In the interest of supporting good health and providing a safe celebration for students and adults with allergies, please note the following CHANGE in a tradition.
Our school will continue to honor and recognize each student on their birthdate or as close to the date as possible.
We will not be able to celebrate each individual birthday with a food item.
Each class will celebrate their own monthly Class birthday on the first day of the month that school is in session for the month. Students may bring in a food item, but it can ONLY be either yellow or chocolate Hostess (no other brand, please) pre-wrapped cupcakes. This is the safest brand for allergy prone consumers. Should there be multiple birthdays, the teacher will ask her “birthday” students to bring in one box each and the leftovers will be sent home.
Please help us with this new policy. It will benefit our students by not adding unwanted calories to their day and academically, it will mean that there are fewer disruptions during the school day – more time to get smart?
Thank you for your help with this new policy. Mrs. Moran & Staff
Students may now wear tied sneakers with visible socks through Oct. 31 if they are wearing their summer uniform.
Parking lot adult supervision begins at 7:45 AM; doors open at 7:50 AM. Students arriving after 7:55 AM must sign in at the office. 4 Tardies will equal a half day absent.
Gym uniforms are needed every Thursday and Friday, starting Sept 28th. Red logo tee and sweatshirt; red jersey gm shorts; and red sweat pants (same fabric as sweat shirt).
